A few years back, the singer decided to put down the guitar and pick up the pen, turning her attention to another love – writing. Having studied creative writing during her college years and having worked a brief stint as a journalist prior to her career as a music artist, Carson channeled the stories she normally reserved for three-minute pop songs into a novel’s worth of personal history.
