Better known for the "Island-infused, Drum 'n' Bass, Gospel-Ninja-Soul" music that has made him one of the top emerging artists in the North American festival circuit and roots / jam music scene, Zach Deputy is also an avid, competitive disc golfer. In fact, he was recently made one of the first "Celebrity Ambassadors" for Innova Champion Discs, the industry leader of disc golf. Zach's involvement with Innova has in part paved the way for Disc Jam's first year music and disc golf event-- held June 17-19 in Sturbridge, MA-- to be officially sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA)....

Wednesday, December 9, 2009 Having been added to Jam Cruise 8.0 as a result of a fan-generated campaign, Zach Deputy will kick off the new year on a luxury cruise liner leaving Ft. Lauderdale, sailing between Cuba and Haiti then hitting Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island, back past Cuba and then-- back on land-- through Florida for over a week of dates in the sunshine. Check the calendar for all of the up-to-date tour stops. Zach will then head into Texas and Colorado-- among other stops-- in late January and February. Thursday, December 3, 2009 Barely a month before the cruise liner sets sail on January 3, 2010, from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Zach Deputy has been added to Jam Cruise 8. Despite having been completely booked and scheduled for over 6 months, Jam Cruise promoters-- responding to a fan campaign to add Zach Deputy to the artist line-up for the Caribbean Cruise-- have made room for the one-man band from South Carolina. In their announcement, Jam Cruise stated: "Passion and enthusiasm are not only qualities we embrace in a musician. We honor and appreciate them when it comes to our passengers. You asked for him. Here he is: Zach Deputy will be joining us on Jam Cruise. Look out for him on the Solar Stage and around the ship throughout the week!"
